Human Rights Forum is pleased to announce its official affiliation with AfricanDefenders – Pan-African Human Rights Defenders Network and CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation. This important milestone reinforces the organization’s commitment to protecting human rights defenders, promoting democratic values, and expanding civic space in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and across Africa. By joining these two internationally recognized networks, Human Rights Forum becomes part of a broad community of civil society organizations dedicated to advancing fundamental freedoms, supporting human rights defenders at risk, and encouraging meaningful citizen participation in public affairs. This affiliation will strengthen Human Rights Forum’s capacity to collaborate with regional and international partners, exchange expertise, participate in advocacy initiatives, and contribute to collective efforts aimed at addressing human rights challenges across the continent. For our Mission, this new partnership represents both an honor and a responsibility. The organization remains committed to documenting and monitoring human rights violations, promoting accountability and the rule of law, supporting victims, and advocating for a democratic society where the rights and dignity of every individual are respected.
